The Community Redevelopment Agency Welcomes Newly Appointed LCRA Steering Committee Member

Ken, a graduate of St. Augustine High School, is a native of Lincolnville. He is a member of St. Paul African Methodist Episcopal Church and serves on the Trustee Board. Ken also served in the United States Army from 1979 through 1988. Ken attended York Town University in Landover, Maryland where he studied Computer Accounting. He has worked with Universal Studios and the Florida State Department of Transportation where he was responsible for auditing revenue and toll collections.

Ken, a self proclaimed community advocate has worked for many years with City and County elected officials and staff in an effort to address community issues and challenges. He prides himself on establishing a platform which he believes provides a voice for his fellow citizens. 

Ken is the proud grandson of Mrs. Cora Tyson, who is a legend in her own right in Lincolnville. Ken has been married to his wife Barbara for 8 years. Their blended family includes 4 children and 16 grandchildren. 

Ken looks forward to serving the Lincolnville community during his term on the LCRA Steering Committee. He hopes to find ways to positively impact the community and leave a lasting impression.
